ADM FAQ
Asked often
The questions that come to the front desk, answered with the studio's own prices, classes and rules.
I have never done yoga. Where do I start?+
Start with a class marked all levels — everyone is welcome, beginners included, no experience needed. Vinyasa Foundations is built for exactly that: mastering the fundamentals at your own pace. The try-out membership — € 39 for 14 days of unlimited classes and self practice, for first timers — is the cheapest way to find out what suits you.
What do all levels and intermediate mean in the schedule?+
All levels means everyone is welcome — beginners included, no experience needed. Intermediate means the class is not built for beginners: some practice experience is expected.
Do I need to bring a mat?+
No. Mats, props, towels and water are all in the studio — everything you need for class is at hand, so you can come empty-handed.
Do I need a membership before I can book?+
No. A single credit is € 19 and covers one guided group class or one self-practice session; it stays valid for a month. Credit packs of 5, 10, 20 or 50 classes and unlimited memberships are there for when you want to come more often.
How and when can I book?+
Everything runs through Trainin, our booking system, and the schedule on this page is live: you can see free spots and book up to the start of the class. The same place handles class cards, memberships, private sessions and workshop tickets.
What if I cannot make a class?+
Cancel at least 12 hours in advance and your credit is not lost. A late cancellation or a no-show means the class credit is used up.
Can I practise on my own in the studio?+
Yes — self practice hours are open exclusively for individual practice: your own movement, breathwork, meditation or flow, without instruction, with all studio facilities available and up to two hours per visit. It is included in all memberships and credit passes. Book in advance in the schedule, and check in and out at the AYU bar.
Is there a student rate?+
Yes — student credits cost € 125 for 10 guided group classes, shown with a student ID at each class. The maximum age for the student rate is 26.
What is the difference between vinyasa and yin?+
Vinyasa links breath with movement and goes through sun salutations and standing and seated postures, so everyone can follow along. Yin stays close to the ground and holds postures for three to seven minutes to gently traction the connective tissues. If you want both in one class, Myofascial Release & Yin Yoga or Restorative yoga meets yin yoga will do it.
Can I practise from home?+
Yes. Livestream classes sit on the same schedule: Mat Pilates, Sunrise flow, Vinyasa yoga, Vinyasa yoga foundations, Vinyasa yoga into yin yoga and Myofascial release & yin yoga.
I would like one on one.+
A private yoga or Pilates session (one on one) is € 90,75, and private Pilates on the reformer, chair & tower is booked the same way. Both appear on the schedule so you can pick a moment that suits.
Will I be touched in class?+
Instructors may offer hands-on adjustments. If you would rather not be touched, tell the instructor before the session begins and it is respected — the same goes for not appearing in photos or recordings.
Where is the studio, and how early should I be there?+
Happaertstraat 26, 2000 Antwerpen — you come in through Āyu coffee & foodbar, the way into the studio. Arrive fifteen minutes before class to change, settle and say hello — being on time is essential, as the door closes when class begins. The ADM CARE therapy room is in the same building. Questions sent by email to info@atelierdumon.com are answered within 5 – 10 working days.
